The Founder
I'm Nathan Pemberton, solo founder, based in East Sussex, UK.
I've spent 17 years building PowerBee, one of the UK's leading solar-powered garden product retailers. I ran the full stack: Magento e-commerce, Google Ads, SEO, customer support, supply chain, and everything in between. I know what it's like to build systems that have to work reliably, day after day, without anyone watching.
That experience is why AgentApproved exists. I don't come from enterprise compliance or big-tech AI research. I come from building real businesses where trust is earned through what you actually do, not what you claim in a PDF.
The Origin Story
When the EU AI Act enforcement date was announced for 2 August 2026, it was clear that AI agents would need a way to prove compliance. Not through annual audits that cost six figures. Not through self-assessment questionnaires that nobody reads. Through real-time, cryptographic evidence generated from actual runtime behaviour.
The gap was obvious: there was no standard, affordable, developer-friendly way for an agent to say "I'm compliant" and prove it mathematically.
So I built one.
What We Believe
Trust shouldn't require trusting anyone.
AgentApproved attestation certificates are Ed25519 signed and independently verifiable. You don't need to trust us — you can verify the maths yourself.
Every event your agent logs is SHA-256 hash-chained into a tamper-evident sequence. When you request an attestation, the server evaluates those events against the regulatory framework you chose — the EU AI Act, the Singapore MGF, or both — and signs the result with Ed25519. The certificate is a self-contained proof. Anyone can verify it without calling our servers.
This is what compliance looks like when it's built for machines, not filing cabinets.
